Rick Warren Blinded By Toxic Poison

This is a news item recently released during the last 2 weeks.

LAKE FOREST – Pastor Rick Warren on Thursday asked Twitter followers to pray for him after being temporarily blinded by the sap of a firestick plant. "My eyes were severely burned by a toxic poison. Hospitalized Mon. Excruciating pain.

Yes, we need to pray for Rick   BIG TIME!

Although we (as Christians) need always be compassionate, showing mercy and grace and love, I cannot but feel that this article is rather ironic and parabolic.

It reminds me of some visions or pictures that OT prophets had to illustrate an important issue.

As discerning believers we know that Rick is BLINDED to Truth and he teaches all sorts of  POISONous ecumenical, Babylonic stuff. Maybe God is speaking???  There are many articles on this blog which give proof and evidence of Rick's involvement in the apostate. To see all these articles collected together in one place (ie, each article following after each other, in date order) please see my label for RICK WARREN or click  http://watchmanforjesus.blogspot.com/search/label/RICK%20WARREN

Would Fundamental Biblical Christians Have Crucified Jesus Too? (Hypothetically Speaking)

There is a BIG subtle (but very poisonous) lie being propagated by many "christian" leaders in order to "scare" Christians into being more open-minded and open-hearted than they should be, encouraging them to reach out more for experiences and not be too focused on the Bible. The lie to scare christians, is that those who are too focussed on the Bible (religious as they put it) or too zealous with "truth" ie "contending for the faith"  would be the very ones to crucify Jesus also if they lived at the same time of Jesus (hypothetically speaking).

They say that we are like the religious Jews who killed Jesus. They say that the scribes and Pharisees were too rigid in the scriptures that they were unable to accept Messiah when He came, so if we get too "religious" we too would have done the same thing. What utter nonsense! They couldn't recognise Messiah because they couldn't see "the forest for the trees".

What I mean is that the Religious leaders were so caught up in scriptural commentaries (like the talmud, Midrash etc) and traditions of men, oral Law and rabbinical teachers (gurus?) etc that they were blind to the obvious references to the Messiah directly from the Tenach (Old testament). They were so caught up in these things that they (actually) did not directly know the Scriptures. Therefore, they were biassed towards expecting a specific messiah after their own imaginations. In fact their hearts became increasingly hardened towards Jesus because (as Jesus put it) they were wicked "of their father the devil" and stiff-necked, hardened hearts.

If they checked the scriptures

Why I Can No Longer Endorse Any Of Watchman Nee's Books

Teaching carries a spiritual health warning

More Info Added 12 Nov 2010
This article is written because of  my previous inadvertent endorsement of Watchman Nee. I apologise to all for any angst that may have caused. I usually thoroughly research those I endorse first, but as explained on my post Why I  Previously Endorsed Watchman Nee Inadvertently   http://watchmanforjesus.blogspot.com/2010/05/why-i-endorse-watchman-nee-book.html  I did not think it was necessary with him. Obviously, I now need to check out all those I trusted in my early Christian life before I endorse them. I also want others who are ignorant (like I was) to be aware why we should not trust his teachings. See my report at the bottom of this post as to why we cannot trust Watchman Nee's books.

Tuesday 11 May 2010

Why I Previously Endorsed Watchman Nee (Inadvertently)

Please note that I have now removed my endorsement of Watchman Nee's book "love not the world". This is not because I am aware of false teaching in that specific book, because I found much of his teaching on this particular subject sound. However, I have since discovered some seriously wrong teachings on many of his other books. It could be that there may be something in that book which may be wrong too (haven't read it for a few years). Therefore, I do not want to be the cause of some young believers reading any of his material and being deceived.

As a young believer I read parts of "Normal Christian Life" the whole of "Love not the world" and parts of  "sit, walk, stand". At the time I was very much impressed by the last 2 books. I cannot remember everything I read in those books but there were general teachings I found very helpful and insightful and got me into serious Bible study. I always maintain that whatever any man says we should be Bereans and "check the scriptures daily to see whether these things are so".  I assumed that Watchman Nee was a sound teacher as was spoken very well of, at the time (1977 to 1981).   At that time I was not so discerning and a bit too trusting. From my research and help from someone else using this site I have discovered that his main false teaching came in his other books which I had never read. Praise God He kept me from those books.

I have also edited my post Who Runs The World? An Investigation Into The Global Scheme Of Things. Completed Report  found on  http://watchmanforjesus.blogspot.com/2010/04/who-runs-world-investigation-into_20.html with the above in mind. Notice it now has the word "revised" in its title.   See my next post above  entitled "Why I can no longer endorse any of Watchman Nee's Books" found on http://watchmanforjesus.blogspot.com/2010/05/why-i-can-no-longer-endorse-any-of.html which gives a full explanation why his teaching cannot be trusted.

Are The Global Leaders Nephilim?

I was asked the question whether I thought the global leaders were Nephilim. This question was asked on my post Who Runs The World? An Investigation Into The Global Scheme Of Things. Completed Report (Revised) on http://watchmanforjesus.blogspot.com/2010/04/who-runs-world-investigation-into_20.html
I have decided to copy/paste my comments (from there) into this post. I think it would be better to continue the chat here:
As an introduction to the comments I would like to first give a brief answer here:

There seem to be a lot of organisations jumping onto the bandwagon of the Nephilim. Whilst I was putting my report together I noticed David Icke (new age alien conspiracist) was leading a lot of people towards the idea that the World leaders were all from the Nephilim/Alien/dinosaur seed. As New Ageists like David Icke and other weird groups are preaching this, we should be very wary.  There are also many watchman who endorse Chuck Missler (because he is very insightful on many topics) but I have reservations because he also puts forward the Nephilim "mixed seed" teaching.

The reason I have reservations on the Nephilim seed topic is because of these questions: "is it important and is it helpful to know?", "how will it change our witness, faith and service to the Lord to know whether it is true or not?", "if it is satanic teaching, could it harm christians to get caught up in this whole thinking?", "is it mere speculation?". Note: scripture teaches us that we should not build doctrines (or conspiracy theories or systematic theology) just on mere speculations on a few isolated verses.

I take the position that if the scripture gives a clear message (on a specific subject) then we need to take it seriously. Of course we should take the WHOLE of the Bible seriously because all scripture is inspired by God. However, if a few isolated verses in scripture (difficult to understand on their own) speaks on a subject shrouded in mystery (because very little is spoken on it) then it is probably NOT vital for our salvation, faith and conduct and is certainly not enough to build a conspiracy theory on.  Also I take the stand that we should NEVER make a doctrine or presumption based on a few isolated verses of scripture if

Information On The Seeker-Friendly Movement and Its Links, Why It Arose and How It Has Fallen From Biblical Christianity

This article is like a supplement to
Why We Should Reject Rick Warren's Purpose Driven and PEACE Agenda
(please click)  which presents the foundation and history behind Rick Warren and Purpose Driven. In other words it gives an insight into why/how things developed into what we see now and presents scriptural rebuttels to what they preach.  This article will be developed as/when I have time. However, I feel I need to post something for the meanwhile, so that we all may be alerted and pass on to others.

Later I will write comparing scripture with what the New Age inspired Seeker-friendly churches, Purpose Driven, Emerging Churches  preach and the main players behind this movement and the facts behind why they are new age.

Just for now I will say that  Purpose Driven is part of the seeker friendly approach. Certainly they are linked. Out of these two came the emerging church which Rick Warren praises and endorses. For now I leave you with this video which  gives a very good background to the seeker-friendly phenomena. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtxzD-Rh_9M&feature=PlayList&p=69BA21BE82E2E67C&index=14&playnext=8&playnext_from=PL

Revised: Conclusive Video Proof? (from Obama's own lips) That Obama is a Muslim and His Islamic Agenda For USA

This is a video of  Barack Obama speaking on many occasions. Every single clip has him either confirming that he is a muslim or stating his Islamic hopes for USA.

Okay I know the video clips have been heavily edited, but how can you make a person say he is a muslim by simply editing, unless you put a number of clips together within the same clip, but this would cause the pictures to be inconsistent and the words spoken to be stop-start affect. In the video clips in some places there may indeed be some stop-starters, but there are also clips which have a consistent flow. I find it hard to believe that the whole thing was made up. There are too many parts that do not suggest that. Certainly I feel the evidence is overwhelming.

Maybe someone could explain to me if it is possible to have clean cuts within the film to make it look consistent with a clear flow. Even with todays technology I can still tell where there are cuts in cinematic films, but I could not spot these in every case on the video.

So if the videos can be trusted it exposes Obama's hidden (but real) agenda for USA to become an Islamic state. Watchman sites have been stating their concerns about Obama for a long time - even well before he became president, but it seems few people believed us and most evangelicals were blinded by Obama into thinking he was a born-again Christian.

We Watchman all recommend that (if it is true) Americans expose him and  vote him out of office as soon as possible before USA and (probably therefore) the World becomes  controlled by Islam and Sharia Law.

Tony Blair courts US pastor Rick Warren in bid to unite faiths

Before I start, I want to draw your attention to articles written before and AFTER this article was originally published. After you read the article below,  please read these articles which are a continuation on this theme:

1) Tony Blair Faith Foundation, Rick Warren PEACE Agenda & One World Political Religious Government
on: http://watchmanforjesus.blogspot.com/2010/03/tony-blair-faith-foundation-rick-warren.html which gives a more thorough investigation into the link between Tony Blair, Rick Warren and the Vatican ecumenical agenda

2) Why The Catholic Church is Not a Christian Denomination  on:  http://watchmanforjesus.blogspot.com/2010/03/why-catholic-church-is-not-christian.html which shows how the Catholic church is a false religion.

This Article reads:
So Tony Blair wants to work closely with Rick Warren! Not that long ago Tony Blair spent time with the Pope in the Vatican becoming a Roman Catholic. It is becoming ever clear now that Tony has a mandate from the Vatican (as an agent) with an agenda to fulfil. Please see the links below (particularly the second one which shows how things fit together for the purpose of a globalised ecumenical church as controlled by Rome).

Why Most of Our Major Bible Translations Can Be Trusted

Edited 22 Jan 2011 and 9th Nov 2014.  See Additions At bottom of this article

This follows on from the debate about the reliability of the NKJV. For those reading the debate (who are not believers and do not know whether they can trust the Bible) please refer to my article within this shortcut link. Please click on  How The Bible Was Put Together and Proving Why It IS The Inspired Inerrant Word Of God
That article is referring to the original manuscripts of the Bible. The MAJOR translations or versions from these manuscripts up to about 1980 may have some superficial differences, but basically all say the same things and can be trusted as inspired by God.  The above link gives evidence why the Bible can be trusted to be the Divine Word Of God.

Up until the last 30 years or so, virtually all versions (or translations) were taken directly from the original manuscripts and painstakingly translated word by word, into the versions we have, and done with a real devotion and reverence for God and His Word. The link proves why the original manuscripts are reliable. I have also compared all the major

Bible Translation NKJV Revised Article

Please note I have now edited my previous post on this shortcut link  Revised: Bible Translation NKJV Debate   regarding the NKJV subject because I  subsequently discovered some serious error in what I posted, so HAD to correct the errors. Please read the article all over again, bearing in mind the comments I had to make.

Sorry if I caused unnecessary angst or confusion.

Revised: Bible Translation NKJV Debate

Edited 3 March 2011 and 9th Nov 2014 (see the edited section in bold)

I have revised  this post and removed most of the article I had previously posted, as it may lead to unnecessary angst and confusion. Please also reads the comments which relate to this post, below.

Based on the replies I received I want to clarify some things from the material I sent. Someone pointed out to me that the shortcut link I gave you was from a website  that  is unreliable. At the time I was looking at a website "biblebelievers" (after investigating the site thoroughly). It looked very sound to me. So when they showed an article about the symbol on NKJV bibles I pressed the link not realising it took me to another external website.  Although I would mostly  recommend  http://www.biblebelievers.com/  I am not willing to recommend http://www.av1611.org/nkjv.html I am actually unsure why "biblebelievers" needed to give the link there.

Although I have to say that av1611 do raise some interesting points but unsure if we can take them seriously or not. The Trinitarian Bible Society also give scathing remarks about the NKJV. Maybe I should have sent this instead as more reputable in what they say.

Evidence Of Premier Christian Radio's Ecumenical and Catholic Links. Why They Can Be Dangerous.

Additional Information 19th November 2014 At Bottom Of This Article
Premier Christian Radio has great influence amongst Christians in the UK (in particular in London where it first operated). It is mostly heavily subscribed financially by Kingsway International Community Church ie KICC (which is a Word of Faith church) and the Roman Catholics, so has become VERY ecumenical (and New Age ideas are promoted on the digital radio and on its website). It seeks to unite Evangelicals, Protestants and Catholics by presenting mixed programmes, but is primarily Catholic, new age and ecumenical, presenting some very weird stuff and promoting heretical Christian groups. As a high percentage of Christians in England listen to the station they are being badly influenced (brainwashed) in this ecumenical drive.

However, at present (amongst the majority of poison) they do have a "few" decent teachers who teach scriptural truth but for how long? Please click on this shortcut link

This is How Worldly The Church Is Becoming. Young Preacher Of The Year Competition.

I saw this advert on Premier Christian Radio which operates in the UK.  A competition for "Young Preacher of The Year 2010". Please see the advert below.

They have got to be kidding????  This is how far the church in UK has gone downhill. Behaving just like the world and using worldly means to choose preachers. This is sick!!!

What has happened to God's anointing and the Holy Spirit distributing the gifts and calling. Now mere men decide by worldly means who has "preaching talent" via a competition.  YUK!!!!!  I thought God chooses because HE looks upon the heart whereas man looks on the outward appearance. Remember what God said to Samuel when choosing David as king.

Ecumenical Christian Organisations and New-Age Christian Organisations To Avoid

Edited 12 Dec 2010
I have stated many times on my blog (information gathered from reputable sources, through much research and investigation) and has been stated by many respected Christian leaders that Ecumenism should be avoided.

Why? Because it compromises and "waters down" true Christian, biblical teaching and faith. It is "leaven that leavens the whole lump" and corrupts the true church of God. Ecumenism has also introduced  new-age influences (which have occultic origins). The force behind the ecumenical movement is the Vatican whom controls it. Click here for article which proves this - especially the vatican's ecumenical links. They introduce ecumenism to charismatic, evangelical, protestant churches, by infiltrating these churches and by starting false new organisations and fake revivals. The whole purpose is to weaken the church that Christ died for with destructive heresies and practices.

These are the organisations you should avoid (or at least be wary of) because they are ecumenical working with the Catholics or even other religions or are new-age. See my label "Ecumenical Organisations Specific Information" for further details on the individual organisations. This is the list I have at the moment as follows:

Why The Catholic Church is Not a Christian Denomination

Updated 19 Nov 2010 (and added a new link 25 Feb 2012 & 22nd Nov 2014)
Please read this article in conjunction with my latest two articles written on 12 and 19 Nov 2010 found within these 2 shortcut links:
Peter Was Not The First Pope! Conclusive Historical Evidence Revealed and Matthew 16:18-19 Contextual Evidence

When Did Jesus Drink The Fourth and Final Passover Cup? The Mystery Truth Revealed
It is important to understand that Jesus died for us, taking our  place on the cross, being punished for what we have done. The good news of Jesus is that we are saved because of what He has done. The Bible says we are saved by grace (God's unmerited favour towards us) - not by works. The Bible makes it plain that any faith or religion that depends upon works for salvation is a false religion. Catholics depend upon WORKS!

Here is some evidence explaining  why the religion of Rome is a false "works" and counterfeit religion: please click on this following link (newly added 25 feb 2012)
Roman Catholicism Versus the Bible

It is also important to understand the origins of the Catholic Church which prove it to be anything BUT Christian.

The origin of the Catholic Church
The Roman Catholic Church contends that its origin is the death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ in approximately 30 A.D. The Catholic Church proclaims itself to be the Church that Jesus Christ died for, the Church that was established and built by the Apostles. Is that the true origin of the Catholic Church? On the contrary.
Even a cursory reading of the New Testament will reveal that the Catholic Church does not have its origin in the teachings of Jesus, or His apostles. In the New Testament, there is no mention of the papacy, worship / adoration of Mary (or the immaculate conception of Mary, the perpetual virginity of Mary, the assumption of Mary, or Mary as co-redemptrix and mediatrix), petitioning saints in Heaven for their prayers, apostolic succession, the ordinances of the church functioning as sacraments, infant baptism, confession of sin to a priest, purgatory, indulgences, or the equal authority of church tradition and Scripture.
So, if the origin of the Catholic Church is not in the teachings of Jesus and His apostles, as recorded in the New Testament, what is the true origin of the Catholic Church?

Mike Hoggard Latest News Update

Edited 23 July 2012

I should have done this some time ago but had forgotten I had written this article. Please exercise caution when listening to Mike Hoggard because he has some very questionable ideas bordering on cultish ideas eg that only the KJV is inspirational and contains bible codes. I could say much about that, but just suffice to say that finding hidden meaning via codes etc is surely bordering on the occult? However, Mike is very informative on a number of issues that we all need to be aware on. However, you do not need to watch HIM for that information because the same information can be found elsewhere on more sound sites. However, if you insist in listening/watching him PLEASE be wary and as always weigh it up with reliable versions of the scriptures by comparing them with each other (NIV, KJV, NKJV, NASB).

I can no longer endorse his site though. This is why I did not advise (any more) of all his updates. Please see my further notes within the final Article I wrote regarding Mike Hoggard' site Mike Hoggard's Latest Video Now Removed

The Promise Keepers Movement is Dangerous. Watch Out For It!

New Ecumenical Mens Group Promise Keepers and Its Various Deviates

A note from JohnChingford. Please Note that the information given here is still applicable as the 7 promises of a Promise Keeper are still foremost in their mission statement as at 2010. See their website: http://www.promisekeepers.org/about/7promises

We do not hesitate to give the strongest possible warning now concerning the dangers of the Promise Keepers movement. Our reasons will be clearly stated and properly documented from original sources so that God's people may be able to see for themselves how this new movement is mixing truth and error. If for no other reason, the Promise Keepers movement is dangerous because it promotes an unscriptural agenda of forging a religious ecumenical unity which is absolutely forbidden in God's Word (2 Cor. 6:14-7:1; Eph. 5:11).  This full article can be found in
and below (in blue), But first, I would like to show clear evidence of the ecumenism of Promise Keepers, as follows:

Showing Why The Bible Version "The Message" Is Blasphemous

In these last days there are hundreds of newer versions of the bible being thrust upon us. I believe it is satan's tool to confuse us and pervert the truth. "The Message" written by Eugene Peterson is heavily endorsed and used by Rick Warren and his Saddleback church. The overuse of "the Message" can be seen specifically in Rick Warren's Purpose Driven books. "The Message" is the biggest example of men blaspheming/ corrupting God's truth. This post will expose the error and the hidden agenda of this false bible.
After reading this article, please then take a look at this link  http://www.sdadefend.com/MINDEX-U-Z/Saddleback.pdf which shows how Rick Warren uses the false translation of "the Message" to distort truth and how he produces a very worldly and counterfeit type of church devoid of  "real" spiritual life.

New paragraph added 1st September 2013:
The following has been taken from http://www.crossroad.to/Bible_studies/Message.html which shows how dangerous this false "bible" is (actually a paraphrase - a man's own opinions on what the Bible says) and why it should be rejected, thrown away or even burnt. To read it, is to allow your mind to become polluted by false interpretation which can colour forever the way you view God, His true message, truth, sin etc etc. Eventually the harm done could take years to undo and may never be fully healed. We MUST study God's word direct from trustworthy versions only (more on that later and throughout this blog).

What kind of message is THE MESSAGE?

Written in 1993 in response to several requests

Emphasis added throughout the report
The Message DELETES the reference to God's holy name, ADDS requests not voiced by Jesus, and changes the meaning of other verses. Follow the link and learn more about the phrase, "As above, so below."

   Matthew 6:9-13
"Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
The Message:
"Our Father in heaven,
Reveal who you are.
Set the world right;
Do what's best -
Keep us alive with three square meals.
Keep us forgiven with you
and forgiving others.
Keep us safe
from ourselves and the Devil.
You're in charge!
The Message distorts the relationship between God the Father and Jesus the Son:

John 10:30"I and the Father are one."

John 14:28
"...The Father is greater than I."

The Message:
"I and the Father are one heart and mind."

The Message:
"The Father is the goal and purpose of my life."

Renovare, Promise Keepers. Dangerous New Ecumenical, New Age Movements Coming To Our Churches

You may have heard about Emerging Church with its New Age, Dark Ages Christianity based on experiential Christianity, rather than on what the scriptures reveal. See my link on the emerging church by Roger Oakland,  for an outstanding presentation of what the emerging church is and how it is operating. Well .... here we see other things also emerging.  Renovare and Promise Keepers. Also I have something to show you about the new paraphrase of the Bible "the message"

Why You Should Avoid Jack Hayford

This post gives sufficient evidence to prove that Jack Hayford is someone you should avoid at all costs. He involves himself in many many organisations - all of which promote ecumenicalism.  Anybody who encourages unity with the Roman church is committing adultery with the harlot of Babylon. God takes that sort of adultery very seriously. The bible contains many instances and demonstrations of God's anger over this form of adultery.

Here is information on the history and evidence of Jack Hayford's involvement in heretical and ecumenical movements and his associations with ecumenical/heretical false teachers. The article starts with his general background, history and beliefs and then goes on to present the evidence of why he is a false leader.
