In These Days Of Apostasy, Why Follow Leaders?

This is just a brief article, to be linked to another article, written because of the multiplicity of questions received as to whether I actually recommend any good leaders, at all.

There were many that I respected and believed to be genuine followers of Jesus, not caught up in the ecumenical train towards Rome. However, as time has gone on, many of these have succumbed. Therefore I do not want to write such a list in case further leaders also succumb. In any case, should we be looking to leaders or to Jesus for our Christian growth and maturity?

I wrote an article (at the bottom) which includes a long list of those with ecumenical/new age etc ties. I made the point that just because their name appeared, did not mean I was calling them false.

Some of these may have inadvertently

In These days Of Apostasy and False Christianity, Should We Still Attend Apostate Churches?

A Little About The Apostasy
This blog has demonstrated, with clear evidence (over and over again) that the great majority of Christianity (including protestants and evangelicals) have become infected/infiltrated with apostasy.

The apostasy includes an overwhelming acceptance of ecumenism, i.e. unity with  the pagan Babylonian originated Roman Catholic church, and even ALL FAITHS unity, New Age thinking and much occult activity. The church of the 21st Century has widely compromised on the fundamental teachings from the Bible by putting greater emphasis on the physical, mental, psychic, mystic and “spiritual” EXPERIENCES rather than following after the pure, unadulterated, simplicity of the Bible and NT Christianity.

They have forgotten the exhortation (in the Bible) that EVERYTHING must be weighed up by the plumbline of Scripture. What has happened to “testing all things” by the Word of God?  What about 2 Tim 3:15-16:

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ JesusAll scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

But the Word of God rarely NOW has centre place in churches and very few believers are discipled into proper Bible study and certainly are not trained to follow 2 Tim 2:15:

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Instead many simply open the bible randomly (when they do actually go to that extent) and collect their doctrine from isolated verses and WELL out of context, instead of comparing scripture with scripture and properly seeking to understand the context of why something was written.

Instead they are taught to seek “experiencing the Lord” rather than seeking to know the Lord through His word and prayer. For more on this, see footnote below

In the light of these apostate days and apostate churches,  SHOULD true born again believers STILL go to church? To find out, please click on the icon entitled  "read more" below.

Why Dominion and Kingdom Now Theology Leads The Church Down The Same Road To Apostasy As Pursued By Rome

Updated  6 Dec 2010 and 20 Jan 2011
If you click on the following shortcut link you will see an older article (which this new article is based upon). However, that older article  List and Details On Other False Teachers and Prophets  needed revision and was edited on 6 Dec 2010 .

Please note:  On 6 Dec 2010  I  finally  completed my own list (after very extensive research of  many weeks)  of false church leaders as per  List Of False Christian Leaders, False Teachers Prophets indicated By The False Organisations They Belong To  This work is not yet completed. There will be subsequent articles which will give sound reasons why they are false, by giving a general history of the faulty organisations they represent. I have now removed my earlier lists (as given by the RR site) because it was too questionable.

Whilst working on this project I had to look at the recent history (behind the scenes) of  how apostasy enveloped the churches within the 20th to 21st Centuries. The aim is to show the apostate organisations and then list the main leaders within these organisations. From that list you would then be able to make decisions on individual leaders based on their associations or the bad company they keep.

The more I have investigated into these things,  the more I realise I am opening a massive can of worms which reveal vast networks closely knitted together within each group and some of these networked groups are attached to the other false organisations . For example,  some of groups within The Restoration Movement and Pentecostal movement have links with the Word Faith organisations.

This is becoming something so large, it is difficult to put together within just one article. It would need a volume of books to explain and prove it sufficiently. However, I will attempt to give as brief  a summary as possible (with helpful links) and try to present it in a very readable way, within maybe just a few articles which will be linked together.

I wanted to know if there was a common ground which linked these false organisations together. I knew that they are all ecumenical and are co-workers with Rome (The Vatican controlled Catholic Church). But then I discovered something more intriguing which links them with Rome. These groups ALL embrace the

Answers To Questions On Why Emerging Church Teaching Should Be Rejected

Showing Why The (Experiential) Emerging Church Christianity is Apostate, Pagan, Babylonic and Catholic

You will notice that someone wrote some excellent comments with questions. They asked why was the Emerging church wrong and why it is considered Catholic. I would like to show the dialogue so that all readers can see what the issues are and the answers as to why Brian McLaren's Emerging Church teaching should be rejected. First of all, though, I would also like to give you a link to a video from Roger Oakland of Calvary Chapel. He gives a very powerful message exposing what the Emerging Church really is and its very dark roots http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2354082808894087473#   Anyway, here is the dialogue I mentioned above, as follows:

Why You cannot Trust Any Preacher Who Has Ecumenical Connections

Edited 12 Dec 2010
I have found something VERY interesting in all the research I have done (so far) on individuals and organisations. Please see the bottom of this post for my method of research (if you query how I get this information).

What I have discovered is that ALL those supportive of anything ecumenical tend to all associate with Catholics and teach that Catholics are part of the church. They generally speak well of the pope. They tend to appear and preach at ecumenical meetings and work tirelessly to promote unity across all denominations (including the Catholic church). Please see this shortcut link Why The Catholic Church is Not a Christian Denomination  which shows why we should not associate with Rome. Rick Warren is a major player (in this respect) in these days.

I am for and not against encouraging unity across fundamental, evangelical, protestant churches who "stick" to the Bible as our final authority, but ecumenicalism (of our day) doesn't do this. It associates with Rome, New Age and all sorts of other "experiential" christianity.

First see my post on this older shortcut link Ecumenical Christian Organisations and New-Age Christian Organisations To Avoid   and then click on the links listed within that article for even more information.    If a preacher is lnked to any of these, then he probably has catholic and/or new age connections and is probably supported by the Vatican, but certainly has

Ecumenical Christian Organisations and New-Age Christian Organisations To Avoid

Edited 12 Dec 2010
I have stated many times on my blog (information gathered from reputable sources, through much research and investigation) and has been stated by many respected Christian leaders that Ecumenism should be avoided.

Why? Because it compromises and "waters down" true Christian, biblical teaching and faith. It is "leaven that leavens the whole lump" and corrupts the true church of God. Ecumenism has also introduced  new-age influences (which have occultic origins). The force behind the ecumenical movement is the Vatican whom controls it. Click here for article which proves this - especially the vatican's ecumenical links. They introduce ecumenism to charismatic, evangelical, protestant churches, by infiltrating these churches and by starting false new organisations and fake revivals. The whole purpose is to weaken the church that Christ died for with destructive heresies and practices.

These are the organisations you should avoid (or at least be wary of) because they are ecumenical working with the Catholics or even other religions or are new-age. See my label "Ecumenical Organisations Specific Information" for further details on the individual organisations. This is the list I have at the moment as follows:
