Babylonic , satanic Roots Of Psychology and Philosophy

Philosophy and psychology are at its very root satanic and developed out of Babylon.

It is very interesting to see how the great philosophers or so called brilliant “thinkers” very often are actually a confused set of people who seem to make compexity out of very simple things. They become so confused in their minds but (through a complicated way of explaining things) try to convince the hearers that they have an insight into things. It is interesting that satan has always aimed to confuse our thinking and get our thinking hostile towards God.

Babel means "confusion". So they introduce intelligent sounding ideas, which if properly analysed would be seen to be nonsense. For example "do I really exist", "is this pen really blue or am I preconditioned to think it is" To me all very mumbo jumbo and meaningless discussion.

At the very beginning satan tried to distort the truth of God and destroy what God had made. Jesus said that the “thief (satan) comes to steal, kill & destroy”.

Satan always uses these tactics "Did God really say" and “God knows that if you do this your eyes will be opened and you will be LIKE GOD”. This is what philosophy and psychology use and they culminated straight out of Babylonic religion which was a religion set up to oppose God.

In other words philosophy is very often, questioning the truth that God has made real to us. It is always raising questions but never able to give real answers. This has been the tactic of satan from the very beginning, to get man to question truth. "These people with itching ears accumulate teachers to their own liking and will turn aside to myths" 2 Tim 4: 3-4    "always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth"  2 Tim 3: 7.

There is a history behind philosophy and psychology which goes all the way back to

the tower of Babel where man thought he could become like God (again the lie of satan in the garden). Babylon was the breeding ground for much of the thoughts and practices we still follow in the world today. Babylon became a massive empire and so their philosophies, rebellion to God, and (what we now call) new age ideas came from there. Todays new age ideas are really recycled babylonic religion which Roman Catholics christianised and brought into their religion.

You see, Babylonic influences have taken over. Even when their empire fell their ideas etc were taken on board by the new empires but maybe modernised somewhat. So the Persian Empire took over followed shortly by the Greek empire and then the Roman empire .  It was out of the Greek empire that much of the philosophies and psychologies developed further (and which we know about today)  from great thinkers taking on board the Babylonic influences and putting pen to paper (or papyrus) and taking it steps further in thought. This is also what new age (of today) does.

The background to it all is steeped in evil influence. Man's thinking coming from the lies of satan.  When a man of great intellect (but rebellious to God) comes on the scene, don't be surprised if the enemy gives him powerful insight (which is actually a powerful delusion and deception).

The purpose of philosophy and especially psychology is to drive mankind away from a Living God by giving them an alternative to God or even appealing to the god within themselves “self-actualization”. It is basically atheistic or antiGod at its core and satanic, with the aim of killing mens consciences and consciousness of sin. It is all about “self” importance.

Scriptures teaches that “all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory” and  “in us dwells no good thing”. Paul said “who will deliver me from this body of death, thanks be to God through Jesus”. He recognized that he could not save himself and needed the grace and mercy of God through the death & resurrection of Jesus. However, psychology and psychiatrists teach that man is basically good. They teach it is just a question of finding the god within us “self” and focusing our thinking on “self esteem”. They teach that most of our problems can be eliminated by giving ourselves a high view of ourself. Self confidence, self esteem, self achievement, self actualization etc. It is all about SELF!

Whereas, Paul by divine revelation recognized that he needed to be saved by God’s power and the life he now lived was by trust in what GOD had done. “it is no longer I that live but Christ who lives in me”.

Maybe most (if not all) people who think they need psychiatric or psychological help are actually suffering because of the impact of their sinful nature and acts of sin in their life. The answer to this problem is not professional help but repentance from a sinful life style to God through Jesus, confession of sins followed by forgiveness of sins by the blood of Jesus. Turn to Jesus and let Him heal you within by the power of His Holy Spirit living in you.

The problem is that new age ideas which (include psychology) are widely being practiced in our churches in these last days. In other words we have allowed satan to get his foothold within the churches through the "leaven" of these ungodly practices. They have even been "christianised" by calling it Christian psychology, but it basically teaches the same ungodly stuff. They are bringing the "world" into the church. Paul warned us by teaching "do not be conformed to the world (the thinking and practices of the world) but be transformed by the renewing of your minds".

Many thanks for posting your blog on the satanic roots of psychology.

I understand that you write from England; my question is whether in England you have noted much activity from an American Inner Healer called Leanne Payne?

www.leannepayne.org

I would be interested in your opinion, especially in the light of what you have written on the satanic roots of psychology.

I myself am a great fan of Dave Hunt (www.thebereancall.org) and of Martin & Deidre Bobgan (www.psychoheresy-aware.org)

Warm regards,

Hi J

Welcome to this blog.

I had not heard of Leanne Payne until now. However, I am aware that many charismatic Christians are practising such things. I am aware of healing clinics (for example).
Here is a link which gives specific information on why Leanne's practices should be rejected:

http://www.psychoheresy-aware.org/lpayne81.html

Just to say that I am no expert on what goes on at inner healing practices. I am just aware of some of the methods used.

Having read one or two books by Christians on inner healing (in my early Christian years) it left a bad taste in my mouth. I realised early on how unscriptural it was, having been an enthusiastic studier of God's Word. Therefore, I (for years) have avoided it with a barge pole. Therefore, I do not make myself familiar with the authors and latest methods etc, trying to avoid it.

The reason I knew (in my early Christian life) that it was unscriptural is because of certain clear teachings from the Bible.

We are taught that we have become NEW CREATIONS in Christ Jesus "the PAST has gone behold the new has come". Jesus saved us from all that contaminated us. It says "He that began a good work will bring it to completion" ie HE will bring it to completion. It is the work of the Holy Spirit. We do not need to delve within. "we are being changed from one degree of glory to another". It is the Holy Spirit who is changing us by HIS work. Paul said "FORGETTING WHAT LIES BEHIND pressing on to what is ahead".

I have never read any passages that discuss looking inwards or seeking inner healing. They ALL talk about looking to Jesus, seeking His face. "seek those things which are above, not those things on Earth". It is a deception/lie from satan that we look within ourselves. That sort of practice all started in the garden by encouraging Eve and subsequently Babylon and all mankind to seek the god within, ie looking inwards. The enemy of our souls want us to become obsessed with ourselves (as if we are gods) so that we do not look upwards to God.

Luke 4:18 says " The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,"

The emboldened parts speak volumes. The last one speaks about inner healing DONE BY JESUS. It is an automatic gift included in the whole package of salvation.

Healing comes when we experience God's forgiveness. We have at least one example of Jesus saying "your sins are forgiven" resulting in physical healing. Actually physical healing often comes after inner healing. BUT inner healing is the work of the Holy Spirit which happens automatically as we present our lives to Jesus. WE DO NOT NEED to go to any person for inner healing neither do we need to become introspective. We have ALL these things in Jesus.

I found this webpage which explains the falseness AND dangers of inner healing extremely well:

Although I gave that last webpage link because it is an excellent article re the dangers of inner healing, I do not endorse everything within that website. I do not encourage you to surf that site.

Someone just sent me an email regarding my comments above. I was asked to quote the scripture verses I used and was asked another question. I thought it would be good to post my reply here:

"Hi

Remember it was Jesus who came to set the captives free. We are simply co-workers. We DO NOT have the power to heal. It WILL ALWAYS be Jesus who heals. Therefore, we do not need to get involved in getting into the inner psych of individuals. The Holy Spirit lives within the believer and will effect the healing. All we need to do (as co-workers) is pray for God's inner healing within that person.

We have no records ANYWHERE in the NT of his servants delving into the past of individuals. The gift of knowledge was simply to reveal hidden sins etc of the PRESENT (which required immediate simple confession [to God] and repentance from) or reveal things of the future as a warning.

In John 4, 7-26, Jesus spoke to the woman of Samaria telling her what she had done in the past for purpose of getting her attention. We do not read that she needed a series of inner healing from the affects of her past. Jesus simply applied the fact that He knew all about her, so that she would repent THERE AND THEN. All we ever see in the NT is confession of sins, followed by repentance and an immediate changed heart by the Holy Spirit.

Never do we see past hurts being confronted through a process of inner healing. You never read of that type of councelling done by the Apostles. We read of IMMEDIATE outward physical healing but not inward.

That is because THROUGH JESUS we HAVE been healed. "by His stripes we are healed". In context: He was wounded for out TRANSGRESSIONS, He was bruised for our INIQUITY, surely He bore OUR SORROWS and by His stripes we ARE HEALED.
Isaiah 53:5

Reading everything above TOGETHER we see that Jesus died for our sins. Transgressions, InIiquity, Sorrows are all forms of sin or a wayward heart. The final part says WE ARE HEALED, ie healed from all the consequences of our sins which includes inner healing (sorrows).

Here are the verses you wanted. They appear in the same sequence as I quoted them above:

2 Corinth 5:17
Philippians 1:6
2 Corinth 3:18
Philipp 3:12-14
Coloss 3:1
Genesis 3:4-6
Matthew 9:4-6
Romans 12:1-2
Ephesians 3:16

Here is another verse in Ephesians 2:4-6 "But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus"

If we are seated with Him in Heavenly places, why look inwardly? Why not just leave the inward man to God. We HAVE been healed inwardly, we are ALREADY seated with Him changed! Note Eph 3:16 above which says it all.

I hope that helps.
God bless"
